Louise and Nathalie are in their thirties. They meet again after a separation of more than ten years. Louise is a dental technician. Nathalie has become a theatre actress, which they both dreamed of being one day. Because she admires Nathalie, Louise wants to make her happy in spite of herself and intrigues to have her play "Lulu" with a prestigious director. She lives vicariously through her friend's promise of success: she lives with her, attends her work and becomes indispensable to her. Louise does not give Nathalie a break and their relationship turns into a passionate spiral.
