Stéphanie Solinas
A graduate of ENS Louis Lumière and Doctor of Fine Arts (Paris I), Stéphanie Solinas (1978) has developed a multi-faceted body of work, at the crossroads of photography, book and installation. Her practice questions the very operation of "seeing" and its limits, pushing ever further the boundaries of her medium. His work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at the Rencontres d'Arles, the Musée Carré d'Art de Nîmes, the Fraenkel LAB (San Francisco), the FOAM FOtografie museum of Amsterdam, the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix in Paris, La Maison Rouge, the Société Française de Photographie, the Eglise Saint-Eustache (Mois de la Photo), and more. Her work can be found in international collections: Centre National des Arts Plastiques, Bibliothèque Nationale de France, CNAC Georges Pompidou/Bibliothèque Kandinsky, Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain PACA, Musée Nicéphore Niepce, Musée de L'Elysée in Lausanne, Pier 24 Photography in San Francisco, as well as in several private collections. Stéphanie Solinas has published Dominique Lambert (2010/2016), Sans titre (Monsieur Bertillon) (2012) and Déserteurs (2013).
In 2019, she directed Ne me regarde pas pour la 3ème scène.
