Jhon Rachid
Jhon Rachid, pseudonym of Mohamed Ketfi, is a French-Algerian video artist, comedian, cartoonist and humorist.
Jhon Rachid launched his YouTube career in 2010 with parodies of shows such as "MacGyver", "K2000" and "Koh-Lanta". He then began to talk about his passions, particularly rap, in the series that brought him fame: "J'ai mal au rap".
The series lasted 10 episodes and, in 2016, helped him reach 750,000 subscribers on YouTube. In 2017, he became the first comedian from Lyon to surpass one million subscribers.
In 2017, Jhon Rachid released a short film entitled "Jour de pluie" (Rainy Day) about the October 17, 1961 massacre. It is selected by the Festival international des scénaristes de Valence.
In October 2019, Jhon Rachid publishes his first comic book, "Comme on peut", illustrated by Leni Malki (L-Kim), with Editions Michel Lafon. This 300-page comic strip tells the humorous story of his childhood spent in a foster care in Lyon.
