Emmanuelle Cuau
Emmanuelle Cuau begins her career as an extra in Robert Bresson's feature : Money. She then enters IDHEC to become a director. Her first feature, Circuit Carole (1995), stars Bulle Ogier and Laurence Côte as mother and daughter. Her second film, Very Well, Thank You, tells the story of a man who, taken into custody after an identity check, ends up in a psychiatric asylum. In 2015, she directs Not on My Watch, starring Virginie Efira, Gilbert Melki and Marilyne Canto. At the same time, she regularly lectures at La Fémis and the Cours Florent, and works as a screenwriter.
