Longwave
April 1974. Two radio journalists are sent to Portugal to report on Swiss aid in that country. Bob, a technician nearing retirement, accompanies them in his trusty VW combi. But on the spot, nothing goes according to plan: tension is at its highest between Julie, the feminist, and Cauvin, the cunning war reporter. The goodwill of Pelé, the young Portuguese translator, does nothing to help: the little team forfeits the mission. But the wind of history pushes the VW Combi right into the heart of the Carnation Revolution, forcing this team of Pieds nickelés to take part, and body, in this crazy night of April 24, 1974.
