Le Chantier

This documentary, filmed over three years, captures the intimate atmosphere of the reconstruction site of an iconic Parisian Pathé movie theater, portraying the construction process as a microcosm of society and reflecting the hierarchy of the working world—from architects to master carpenters, artisans, and future projectionists. The entire project was directed by architect Renzo Piano.
