In the Courtyard

Antoine is a musician. In his forties, he suddenly decides to end his career. After a few days of wandering, he gets hired as a caretaker. Mathilde lives in the old building in eastern Paris where he takes up his post. She is a young retired woman, generous and involved, who divides her time between her associative activities and the life of the condominium. One evening, she discovers a worrying crack in the wall of her living room. Little by little, her anxiety grows and turns into panic: what if the building collapses... Antoine slowly becomes friends with this woman whom he fears is sliding towards madness. Between slips and worries, the two of them will form a clumsy, funny and supportive tandem that will perhaps help them get through this bad patch.
