A Woman's Life

Gabrielle devotes herself body and soul to her work. Surgeon and head of department at a public hospital, she is constantly on the go, juggling countless tasks and overwhelmed by responsibilities. She has little time left for her private life — a husband who loves her and a mother she must look after. When a novelist comes to spend a few weeks in her department for the purposes of a book, her balance is thrown off. In the daily life Gabrielle has built for herself, is there room for the unexpected?
